Be Positive
It is sooo NOT easy to be Positive. At least that's what I felt about being positive. I tend to get angry easily and that caused by my own negative thought. So I'll try my best to keep the positive energy. I kind of need that right now.
I was organizing my "war equipment" for tomorrow. Feeling happy and organized, I got a text from my marketing team. He told me there's a last-minute project for next week. A gathering. Honestly my heart dropped. But I told myself to be positive and this is totally a challenge to make me stronger. "Be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it"; I wish to be stronger, here comes the challenge. Oh my...
Bonne Nuit

It is said "It's Better Late Than Never"
Yea. So much for a new year resolution. Loads of things has changed and I'm confused about where to start. So I'm just gonna babble around.
About The Work
I know I haven't talk much about my work. The latest news is... the other creative team are leaving. I am gonna be the only creative for the company for some time. I feel nothing except panicking. Although it doesn't show but I truly am panicking. So after I attending talk-show by Ajahn Brahm, bought 1 pair of chunky heels, 1 pair of yellow mustard wedges, and hair-cut, I decided to get into action.
Mission Of The Week
Inspired by a guy on twitter who made a mission of "A Week With No Complaint", I decided to make a small milestone just like him. I'll try to keep the mission fun and stick to it.
Positive
I really like this advertisement from one of the cigarette brand. I hate cigarette but I truly love the message they're trying to deliver (such a cliche). One of them says "Enaknya banyak nyamuk" (It is nice to have loads of mosquitos around) and the picture shows some guys playing fun competition catching mosquitos with the mosquito-racquet. The other advertisement says "Enaknya macet" (It is nice to be stuck in traffic jam) and the picture shows some guys racing happily in bicycle. It really is a nice message that everybody should see the positive side of things. When they actually do, they'll be happier.
That reminds me of Ajahn Brahm, a monk from Australia. I love him to the max. And yea, I do agree with some people. He's one the happiest people I've ever seen. I want to be like him. I know it takes time and studies and all. He always see things positively. Which is really great. No matter what people ask him, he always has the positive and funny answer. Such a shooting person. What a lovely person to be with.
----------------------------------------------
Anyway, I am back to writing. I can talk to ME when I write (yea, I consider a blog as a media to 'write')

Twenty Twelve
Happy New Year 2012.
People said new year is like a blank book. I might have to disagree with that. I think new year is like a book full of strategies and hopes. It is not guaranteed if all the plans will work but that's how it's gonna be. Trial and error... and eventually, succeed :)
That's why everybody should have something called "New Years Resolution. I never really have one every year coz I believe things will just happened by itself... Which is totally stupid. I tried to make one and, honestly, I never achieved those. So here are my resolutions. Hopefully I'm gonna be able to make it happen.
1. Future Planning
Yes. I am now working in an event organizing company which I totally love since this is what I've been wanting to do. But hey... My lifestyle and my standard is really high. I couldn't live on the salary they pay me. I worth so much more. And from my observation, those people are rich because they own the business. So yes. I need to start a new business. And I need to plan this properly coz I want to get this project running by July 2012.
2. Stop Procrastinating
If there is something I just love to do... That will be procrastinating. I just want to do it "later". This is not a good habit. I really wanna change this coz this habit affects every single thing I do.
3. Hit 63kg or lower
Yes. I've been really healthy at 63kg. And look at me now 10 kg heavier at 73. I need to lose those. Seriously. I need to look fabulous.
4. Save IDR 10,000,000 untouched
I still want to go to Paris. And for that I need the money. So, I need to start saving. In order for me to save, I need to make a financial report, along with financial planning and stick to it.
5. Family & Friends Privilege
Yea... I think I have been acting like an outsider. A stranger. I should spend more time with my family and friends. I should listen more to them and stop being such an egoist person.
6. Be Patient
Just be patient :)

Nike Grand Indonesia store opening
I love twitter. It is my main source for news update, entertainment, or even gossips (keep reading, I will get to the point of where it is relevant to the title). I follow DJs, my friends, people I envy, places I like and few cool random people.
One of the people I follow is Anton Wirjono. He's a DJ, the co-founder of The Goods Dept, producer of Agrikulture and many more. I love everything he created / produced. Well, The Goods Dept is totally my favorite place now. The Goods Cafe included (their Baileys shake and bread pudding is to die for). I love his music. I love Agrikulture. Anyway, he made a quiz on twitter. Winner get invites to the NIKE Grand Indonesia store opening on 5 April. All we need to do is post a picture of our favorite Nike.
I went out and took one of the NIKEssssssssssssss my brother has (he's a shoe collector). I took a picture of it and send it. And I won! I got the invitation! How cool is that? I know how much my brother love Nike and he would enjoy this!
The event is today. It was great! I met Anton Wirjono and thanked him. He's a cool dude. He's very friendly and nice to talk to. The music was GREAT!! I had an eargasm!! I met few cool people too. I am really happy!!!
Every invitees get booze, food, music performance and goodie bag. And it means exactly that. Beer was everywhere and kept on coming. I had Baileys shake (my truly favorite from The Goods Cafe). Bread pudding. There were giveaways too and my brother got a jacket. He had to answer a question and what does he not know? He's a big fan for God's sake. Nobody could answer the next question either but the MC didn't allow him to answer the question anymore lol. I didn't get the shoe or the lucky draw but that doesn't matter.
Agrikulture performance was beyond my expectation. It was really great! I didn't even know they exist untill today. And they are different but in a good way :) I had a conversation with Fandy, the vocalist, who turned out to be really friendly and funny too. I just love all the people I met today. He told me that their second album is coming soon. I'm totally gonna buy it :D
The highlight of the day? I went out and had fun with my brother :)

Dance Dance With Me Baby
This group is called Kazaky. These four sexy creature are from Ukraine. Have you seen how they dance? With stilettos! No joke. I have to give credit for their moves, their power, their sharpness, their flexibility and everything else. WOW!!!
And this video made me wet. The fact that they have six-packs, those sweats, their killer eyes, those curves when they dance just... Unbelievable.
This video made me wanna dance even more! I'm a dancer. I'm good at it. I just need practice and I'm sure I can dance just like that. I have the power and the energy. Someday, I'll make a video of me dancing and I will tell the world that I'm a dancer. It sounds lame, but it actually means something to me when people know I'm a dancer ;)

So...
I have been feeling very nervous for the past one week. I went to an interview on Thursday with a company I love so much. I had an interview with the Brand Manager herself and it went well. So she told me that she liked me and would arrange a meeting for me to meet up with her boss, the head PR of the company. I was really confident and happy. Once I stepped outside the building, I got a call from the company to set up a meeting with the boss the following day.
So I did. I came early as usual and I met him. He seemed kinda fun. Different from the interview I had the day before, he didn't ask me technical questions. Here are some of the questions he asked (from what I remember):
Him : Let's say, your boyfriend... Do you have a boyfriend at the moment?
Me : No.
Him : Ok. So let's say you have a boyfriend later and he doesn't like your job. What are you gonna do?
Me : Alright. Well, I'm currently single. If I will have boyfriend later, I supposed we would have the same interest at some point or we wouldn't even be together in the first place. There's should be no problem. (Here's what I wanted to add but I didn't : "If he still doesn't like what I do, I'll take him there then he'll know how fun my job is").
Him : Do you drink?
Me : Yea. But I haven't been drinking lately.
Him : Why?
Me : Well, I haven't been to club yet this year. You can say I'm a social drinker.
Him : Do you smoke?
Me : Nope.
Him : You have to.
Me : Hmm... can you give me 10 reasons why I have to smoke? (I was joking... So we won't be so tense)
Him : (thinking)... So you'll be crazy.. Haha. I don't know either... Well, our job is to make people happy and they can have fun. So we have to be fun too. What will you do if you're suddenly in a bad mood while you have to work?
Me : See, professionalism is really important to me. For an instance, if I go to a restaurant and the waitress, being in a bad mood, and shove me the menu, I wouldn't be so kin on that. Since, I don't like people doing it to me, I wouldn't do that either. (Here's what I wanted to add but didn't : "Besides, I can deal with myself and not affect others during my job. I keep my professionalism")
Him : Let's say when you work then your Blackberry ringing non stop with 3 customers at the same time with different needs... what are you gonna do?
Me : I will see thru the enquiries and focus on each reply.
Him : So you won't answer in a wrong window... Yea I got what you mean.
Him : We have loads of events, and what do you think if you have to wear weird costumes sometimes?
Me : No problem. What's wrong with it, right.
So, that's (more or less) how it went. Finally he told me that they would contact me in a week. That's when I totally lost my confident because I thought they would hire me straight away. So ever since last Friday, I had been very nervous waiting for their call. I know it hasn't been exactly one week but tomorrow is holiday so I don't think they will call.
And... Just to show how passionate I am about this, I even showed up during their 8th Anniversary party. Somehow I wonder why they don't call. What is it that they think I don't fit into. Anyway, it's time for me to look for a job again :) Wish me luck :D <3

Fairy Tale
I think life is like fairy tale. One just doesn't realize it because they don't know the ending just yet. The only difference is that they have witches, prince, castle while we have bitches, cute guy, grand houses.
I don't know how mine would end but I truly believe that I do live in one fairy tale myself. I met my first love when I was in Junior High School. I think my friends already know what his name is since I repeat it over and over again. His name is Daniel. He was my best friend (or at least I thought so until he drastically changed). I met Ian after that whom successfully made me forget Daniel. And if you are my best friend or have been reading my blog, you should know that it didn't go well between me and Ian. And my heart is now belong to him.
So, what about Daniel and why did I bring it up again? I met him. Last Saturday. So I was hanging out with my friend Stefanus at Grand Indonesia when I met him. He was wearing purple. I was in shock when I spot him but I greet him anyway. The conversation went like this:
Me : Hey Daniel. How are you? What are you doing here?
Him : Hey I'm good. Well, I'm back for good.
Me : Owh?
Him : Yea, I'm currently working here in Jakarta.
Me : Owh yea? Where at?
Him : Sunter.
Me : Owh alright. Where do you stay?
Him : Sunter. So I stay at Sunter and work at Sunter as well.
Me : Owh I see.
Him : What about you? I thought you were in Kuching?
Me : Yea but I came back to Jakarta few years ago.
Him : For good?
Me : I hope not.
Him : Why?
Me : I'm not a big fan of Jakarta. Traffic and all. Aren't they stressing? lol
...
And the conversation went on. I asked for his Blackberry pin and he did gave me so we're now contact thru Blackberry Messenger.
I was really excited. But when my friends asked me "Do you still have feelings for him?"... I couldn't answer it.
He has now become like a character in a book I read. It's like when you read a story like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty or Rapunzel; and now imagine if the prince (if you're a guy then imagine the Cinderella) appear before your eyes. That's exactly how I felt when I saw him. Yes, I envy him. Yes, he looks really good. Yes, I've always dreamed to be in the story. Yes, I did want to meet the prince. But do I love him? No, I don't think so.
Anyway, I hope we could be friends. Just like old times right before I had feelings for him. One more thing, I've been wanting to give to him, but everytime I see him, I'd totally chickened out. It's the initial "D" (no, not the movie) pendant I've wore for 11 years. I couldn't give it to him. Yes, it stands for "Daniel" but I couldn't give it to him. I've wore this for too long to give it to him and have him throw it away. Therefore I declare that this "D" no longer stands for "Daniel" but it stands for "Dance" and "DJ" now :)
