Buying Air Ticket Online

Here are some stories with tickets (not necessary to buy it online):

My brother and my Dad went somewhere and they miscalculated the time to check in for the next connecting flight. And the transit is at Hong Kong Airport. For your information, Hong Kong Airport is sooooo big that it needs one part of the land just for the airport. Please click here to imagine who tiring to walk through from one terminal to another.

So, they almost missed the flight. The plane has to wait for them. The flight was 5 minutes late to depart. All of the passenger must had been angry with them.

My brother friend has bought his ticket to Singapore 5 months in advanced. The night before the flight, guess what did he see? His passport has expired...

Why am I telling all this shit?

I am going for holiday with my parents. The going flight will be on 28 December 2008 and coming back flight on 3 January 2009. Since it is kinda hard to find cheap ticket and I am sure the price will increase soon, I decided to buy the tickets as soon as possible.

I did. I bought the tickets on 30 August. Last Saturday.

The going flight will be 12.45 am and reached by 14.30. The next flight will be 16.05 ; something is wrong there. The coming back flight is 11.35 and reached by 15.30; something is absolutely not right.

And yea!!! I must had had it wrong. I thought 1.5 hours is enough to get to my next flight. Shit! I did not consider the security check, the immigration and also check-in time for the next flight! WHat the HeCk!!!!

I went to AirAsia ticket counter yesterday. In desperate need of help. I waited for so long for my turn. When I finally got my turn, I asked the lady if AirAsia could help us in transferring my luggage since my other flight is also AirAsia. The lady told me that AirAsia is point-to-point so they do not responsible for any connecting flight.

Alright... I am in trouble... Plan B.

In that case, I asked her if I could get an earlier flight. She told me to get the flight at 9 in the morning since 3 hours is very much recommended for connecting flight. So, yea...Why not...

That could not be done as well since we actually have to cancel the flight and get a new one. Yea, right...No refund! WHat the HeCk?!!

I am in BIG trouble... Plan C.
The only thing that I can do now is to get a small bag which can fit into the cabin.

However, eGie told me that there is a chech & change service that can be found on the web. Luckily I checked on that. I did made my changes. I need to pay extra charges tho... That's alright. I rather pay extra than have to missed the flight.
